About the leader

Aposle Toni F. Washington

 

Dr. Toni F. Washington is a community leader  and is active in community service and Prison Ministry. An ordained  minister, she is President and Founder of Covenant Group Ministries,  Inc., a ministry that is dedicated to promoting goodwill, moral, and  spiritual rectitude, and spreading the gospel message. Dr. Washington  believes that networking with other people, staying in touch with  current events, being a rational thinker, and having a system for  analyzing new information, all have contributed to her success. Dr.  Washington has been active in Ministry since the 1980s as a member of  Harvest House Christian Center (now known as World Harvest Church) in  Akron Ohio under the pastorate of Dr. Jerome A. Parker. 

Known  as Pastor Toni at that time, Dr. Washington began ministry as Youth  Pastor and was also involved in prison ministry, Christian hospitality  for seniors, the homeless as well as unreached, and community outreach  services. She also was a teacher and preacher of the Gospel throughout  the United States, operating in the prophetic gifts with demonstrated  miraculous signs and wonders. As a former police officer and a graduate  of the University of Akron (OH), she has taught Criminal Justice at the  university level before relocating to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1993.

Dr.  Washington also has a Master's of Science in Biblical Studies and an  honorary Doctorate of Ministry, emphasis Pastoral Counseling. She is an  ordained certified Christian Clinical Counselor. She is the Founder and  Administrator of the Harvest House Learning Academy. Her teaching  experience extends from teaching at the elementary school level through  college level as well as professional development in business,  government and Christian institutions.

 The goal of our service is to assist and support inmates in transitioning back into community life and service upon release in a responsible, life-affirming way. We provide evangelistic services for minimum security to death row inmates. We also provide About Life Skills training to assist inmates in their successful return to community life.

Trinity Transitional Training & Development Community (TTT&D)

TTT&D is a multifaceted umbrella project that addresses the challenges inherent in homelessness, substance and child abuse, violence and recidivism. This community is designed to nurture and rebuild lives by establishing a foundation composed of transient housing along with teaching and training solid principles, skills and the mindset and tools for successful living.

Taking the form of a full–fledged multiple-services residential community, it houses all the attendant institutions that protect and promote all aspects and phases of life.
